Good news if you’ve been waiting for a simple jailbreak for iOS 4.0: comex has just said that he is going to be going ahead with Spirit for iOS 4.0 and 4.0.1 instead of waiting for 4.1. Spirit will be able to jailbreak the iPod touch 2G MB and MC models, the iPod touch 3G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS new and old bootrom as well as the iPhone 4 once it is released and it very likely will be just as simple to use as the original Spirit.
